Why I started this
I’ve been meaning to write more for a long time. Not for an audience particularly — just to think out loud and have a record of things I’ve figured out or gotten wrong.
The blog is anonymous by design. I’ve had enough of professional social media, LinkedIn especially. I don’t want this to be a portfolio. I want it to be a place where I can write honestly, including about things that would be uncomfortable to publish under my real name.
Posts will mostly be about:
- Backend engineering and infrastructure
- Security practices (and the gap between theory and what actually ships)
- Occasionally, work culture and what I’ve observed going wrong
